Movies

I love movies.

They have a way of dragging us into an alternate reality, where happenings and people are those that we don't get to encounter in real life. They bring us to places that we don't get to go, show us scenes that we won't get to see, experiences that we won't get to feel.

The things said in movies are the things that we won't say in real life, either because we're not smart enough, too timid or too polite to say them. The smart retorts, the rude insults, the sweet, touching words, the heroic call to fight- some of them are only said in movies.

Movies make you laugh, make you cry, make you think, make you imagine, make you realize that humans always want a way to portray the impossible.

The best part?

It takes my mind off from what is going on in the real world.
